Video Project
For this project we learned how to use a video camera and about the different camera angles that we cold use in our videos. Next we learned about how to put all of our videos together. For my video I decided to do a fake message to Sea World about how they are treating the whales that they have there, and it was meant to be funny so I filmed TJ. I was very happy with my final piece. I think that if I were to do this project again that I would want to take more time filming. I did all of my filming in one take, I think that I could have made it better if I did more takes. But over all I think that my final project turned out well.

Project Reflection
Basic Project Description
For the teacher creature project I had to mix a teachers face with an animals face. I decided to take the Spanish teachers face and put it on a Wombat, I did this in Photoshop. This project was very fun but I learned a lot about Photoshop, I not only learned the basics but I also got into the expert level. I learned how to use the quick selection tool, the magic wand tool, the burn tool, the blur tool, i learned how to change lighting, texture, the blend mode and many others. I decided to put my animal/person in a dump scene because I thought that it would be funny. Then I added a dead dog because I needed five pictures to get an A and I only had four. This project was a challenge to get doe in time
Hardest Part of the Project and How you Persevered Through it
I think that the hardest part of the project was finishing it in time. For the first part of the project I didn't have Photoshop on my computer so I had to do all of my work in class. I thought that we didn't have enough class time to complete the project, I really had to focus in class and not get distracted by my friends. Once I got Photoshop on my computer I was able to work on my project at home and that really helped me finish it in time.
Favorite Part of This Project and Why
My favorite part of this project was learning how to use Photoshop, as well as being able to mess with my teachers faces. I liked being able to just create whatever I wanted and not have to follow a specific set of directions. I also liked that Roxy had us find out a lot of the stuff by ourselves instead of showing us how to do everything.
What have you learned about yourself as a student at Animas High School through completing the teacher creature project?
I think that the main thing that I have learned about myself is that when I am around my friends whether it be during project work time or during normal class that I need use the habit of heart and mind perseverance, so that I can persevere through the distractions and really get down to work. Although I don't always do this I have been working on it since the beginning of the year. I think that I have also learned that even if I don't think that I can do something that if I put my mind to it and work hard that I will be able to do it. The teacher creature project is and example of this, I didn't think that i would be able to make my project as well as some of the kids in the past years especially with the amount of time that we had. But I really focused in class and at home on making my project the best that I could and not talking to my friends. By doing this I was able to create a great project that I was very proud of.

Photoshop Tutorials
I took text, made it glow added drop shadow, a background and added texture
I took Nina Agdal's face, made it black and white and put a cityscape over it.
I took a models face and put cracks and a whole in it, then I changed her eye color from blue to red.
Distance And Proportion
To create this picture, I used many different tools in Photoshop that Roxy has been teaching us over the past week. The tools that I used the most was the magic wand tool and the quick selection tool. These two tools helped me take certain things from one image and then past them into another one and make them look like they were not just cut out of a magazine. Another tool that I used was the refine edge tool to make the image look as clean as possible and also blend in with the photo that I am pasting it into.
